Role Overview Sun Life has an opening for a Senior Specialist in Strategic Sourcing - IT at our office in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing software, IT services, and hardware products while managing risk and compliance. You will collaborate with talented colleagues globally to ensure our IT procurement is executed efficiently and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities - Manage sourcing processes for software, hardware, and IT services across Asian and Canadian divisions - Collaborate with business leads to outline sourcing objectives and choose top-tier vendor partners - Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts and terms to optimize commercial value and manage risk - Help internal clients complete third-party risk management and anti-money laundering compliance checks - Create project plans to organize, execute, and deliver sourcing initiatives on schedule - Conduct data gathering, data cleansing, and spend analysis using advanced spreadsheets - Coordinate with legal counsel, information security, and compliance teams on contract approvals - Drive process efficiency by implementing sourcing best practices and utilizing procurement tools Required Qualifications - Five or more years of professional experience in IT sourcing or procurement - Experience in financial analysis, data collection, and data cleansing methods - Strong track record of leading contract negotiations and reviewing technical vendor language - Familiarity with IT procurement challenges, software licensing, and cloud service contracts - Experience using SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules - Strong English communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills Why Join Us Sun Life supports your professional growth through a collaborative environment, leadership guidance, and diverse career opportunities.
