We are looking for a Senior Executive in Talent Acquisition to join our Chennai team and play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding top-tier talent. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity for a driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review job descriptions to understand client and stakeholder hiring needs, conducting research and asking targeted questions to identify the right candidates
- Source top talent through networking, social media platforms, job portals, employee referral programmes, and other proactive headhunting strategies
- Create compelling, professionally written job postings and publish them across relevant online and offline channels
- Conduct candidate screening interviews to assess suitability for open positions
- Act as the primary liaison between the organisation and candidates, managing all communications before and after interview rounds
- Negotiate compensation packages, employment terms, and conditions with candidates while securing commitment for both current and future requirements
- Keep candidates regularly updated on their application status to build lasting credibility and referral relationships
- Extend formal job offers to approved candidates, explaining benefits, role requirements, and position details
- Actively contribute to enhancing the company's employer brand and reputation as a preferred place to work
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; academic background in HR is an added advantage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
- Confident, professional, and outgoing interpersonal style
- Sound decision-making skills backed by analytical thinking
- Ability to design, measure, and optimise recruitment workflows in collaboration with hiring managers
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple open positions simultaneously
- Understanding of marketing strategies to promote recruitment services to clients and candidates
