Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview Omnissa is an AI-driven digital work platform company helping organisations worldwide enable secure, flexible, and seamless work-from-anywhere experiences. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with AIOps expertise to join our growing team in Chennai and play a pivotal role in modernising our cloud infrastructure. This position blends traditional infrastructure automation with AI and ML capabilities to shift monitoring from reactive to proactive and reduce system downtime significantly. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to DevOps and SRE initiatives supporting Workspace ONE Assist across global cloud infrastructure - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps workflows including ArgoCD - Implement robust observability and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry - Manage and automate infrastructure using Ansible and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools - Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in live production environments - Collaborate closely with development teams to engineer resilient, self-healing systems - Maintain and evolve Windows EC2 instances within AWS-based cloud infrastructure - Write clean and maintainable Python scripts to automate operations and enhance developer workflows - Contribute to infrastructure security initiatives covering WAF, firewalls, audit logging, and compliance standards - Provide on-call coverage across multiple time zones as required Required Qualifications - Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting languages for automation tasks - Proven experience designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments - Strong working knowledge of AWS or other major public cloud platforms - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible - Practical experience with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry - Solid understanding of AIOps principles and AI/ML-driven infrastructure automation - Security-first mindset with hands-on experience in infrastructure security and compliance - Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, distributed applications, and incident response Why Join Us At Omnissa, you will be part of a rapidly growing global company of over 4,000 employees that is redefining the future of digital workspaces with cutting-edge AI technology.
