Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview Omnissa is a fast-growing global technology company building the world's first AI-driven digital work platform that enables seamless, secure, and smart work experiences from anywhere. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with AIOps expertise to join our Workspace ONE Assist team in Chennai. This role bridges traditional infrastructure automation with AI and ML capabilities to drive proactive system reliability and reduce mean time to repair. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to DevOps and SRE initiatives across Workspace ONE Assist's global cloud infrastructure - Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps workflows with ArgoCD - Implement observability, monitoring, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry - Manage and automate infrastructure using Ansible and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools - Troubleshoot and operate Kubernetes clusters in live production environments - Collaborate with development teams to architect resilient, self-healing distributed systems - Maintain and evolve Windows EC2 instances within AWS-based cloud infrastructure - Write clean, maintainable Python scripts to automate operations and improve developer workflows - Support infrastructure security efforts including WAF configuration, firewall management, audit logging, and compliance - Implement intelligent log analysis and anomaly detection to enable proactive incident remediation - Provide on-call coverage across multiple time zones as required Required Qualifications - Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting language for operations automation - Proven experience designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments - Strong knowledge of AWS or other major public cloud platforms - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Ansible - Experience with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry - Familiarity with AIOps principles and applying AI/ML to infrastructure operations - Solid troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, and distributed applications - Security-first mindset with demonstrable experience in infrastructure security and compliance practices - Strong communication and documentation skills Why Join Us At Omnissa, you will be part of a rapidly growing global team of over 4,000 professionals who are shaping the future of digital work.
