Security Consultant - Cloud Security Services

Role Overview IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to join its growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will partner with IT and business leaders across industries to develop and execute robust security strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Key Responsibilities - Define and articulate business drivers to align cloud security strategies with client goals and organisational priorities - Design and implement end-to-end security services spanning risk and compliance, application security, data protection, endpoint, and network domains - Deliver hands-on cloud security solutions by working closely with client stakeholders to address their specific security challenges - Provide authoritative guidance on cloud security best practices, risk management frameworks, and compliance requirements - Support clients in evaluating and improving their overall cloud security posture across native and non-native environments Required Qualifications - Exposure to cloud security strategy development including defining business drivers and designing domain-specific security services - Experience implementing security solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms - Familiarity with security domains including risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network security - Ability to apply technical expertise to deliver solutions while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders - Knowledge of cloud security best practices, risk management principles, and compliance standards - Master's degree preferred Why Join Us At IBM Consulting, you will work alongside world-class professionals on high-impact client engagements backed by IBM technology, Red Hat, and leading strategic partners. - Cloud security strategy development and implementation experience - Hands-on exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud platforms - Domain expertise in risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network security - Experience delivering technical cloud security solutions for enterprise clients - Familiarity with cloud security frameworks, standards, and best practices - Advanced threat protection and risk management knowledge - Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills - Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
