SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead the implementation and optimization of SAP Financial and Controlling modules for our enterprise clients. This role involves preparing comprehensive business blueprints, designing solutions, conducting thorough testing, and managing cutover activities for large-scale SAP implementations. You will work with cross-functional teams to transform complex business requirements into robust SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities - Lead SAP FICO implementation projects with expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules - Prepare detailed business blueprints and design documents for financial and controlling processes - Configure enterprise structure and implement accounting processes across multiple dimensions - Manage FI/MM integration activities including inventory management, account determination, goods receipt and issue, and landed inventory valuation - Write comprehensive functional specifications and test scenarios for end-to-end system validation - Perform cutover planning and execution activities to ensure smooth system transitions Required Qualifications - 8 to 13 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO implementations - Strong expertise in configuring GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling modules - Deep understanding of FI/MM integration and related business processes - Experience writing functional specifications and conducting end-to-end testing - Any graduate with relevant IT experience Why Join Us Join Tata Consultancy Services and work on challenging SAP implementation projects for global enterprises. - 8 to 13 years of SAP FICO implementation experience - Proficiency in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling configuration - Expert knowledge of FI/MM integration processes - Experience with EDI, IDocs, process codes, and partner profiles - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage complex projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in writing functional specifications and test scripts - SAP HANA experience is a plus - Retail industry experience is preferred - Knowledge of ABAP and Basis interactions is beneficial
