PL SQL Support Engineer

Role Overview Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced PL SQL Support professional to join their team in Chennai. This role is suited for candidates with a strong background in Unix, SQL, and Autosys within a banking or production support environment. You will be responsible for ensuring system stability, managing scheduled batch jobs, and supporting application operations in a fast-paced enterprise setting. Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux and Unix servers to ensure uninterrupted application performance - Develop, deploy, and manage Autosys JILs and handle batch scheduling and monitoring - Provide application and production support with a focus on the banking domain - Configure and monitor alerts using tools such as ITRS, Grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Splunk - Manage incidents and change requests in line with ITSM best practices using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence - Work with middleware technologies including MQ and Kafka for message queue management - Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms such as OpenShift, Couchbase, and MongoDB Required Qualifications - 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in PL SQL and production support roles - Strong hands-on knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems - Proficiency in Autosys job scheduling and batch management - Experience with ITSM frameworks and incident or change management processes - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools across enterprise environments - Exposure to cloud technologies and NoSQL databases is an added advantage Why Join Us Tata Consultancy Services is one of India's most respected global IT services companies, offering exceptional career growth and exposure to large-scale enterprise projects.
