Python ETL Developer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Python ETL Developer to join our Data Analytics Unit. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target systems - Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning - Implement data cleansing and transformation logic with business rules to ensure high-quality and reliable datasets - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications and operational workflows - Monitor pipeline execution, troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize issues - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for ETL jobs, data mappings, and operational runbooks Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field - 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Python development and ETL or data integration projects - Strong working knowledge of SQL including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and query optimization techniques - Experience with handling structured datasets and implementing transformation and validation logic - Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline issues and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience with orchestration and scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow - Familiarity with Python data libraries including Pandas for data transformations and quality checks - Exposure to cloud data platforms or warehouses such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery Why Join Us Join Infosys, a global leader in IT services and consulting, where you will work on innovative data analytics projects and grow your career with opportunities to learn emerging technologies.
