Role Overview
AMICO Group is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Executive to join their team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders. This role requires strong knowledge of international purchasing practices and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders promptly upon receiving purchase requisitions and verify their accuracy
- Monitor all purchase requisitions to ensure correctness of stock information
- Review and approve supplier pro-forma invoices, verifying specifications, pricing, technical details, and estimated arrival dates
- Track all procurement activities from the issuance of purchase requisitions through to goods receipt, including purchase orders and shipping coordination
- Follow up on supplier backorders to address and fulfill pending requirements
- Enter purchase order details and confirmed delivery dates into the SAP system
- Identify, investigate, and resolve purchasing-related issues including incorrect orders, invoices, and shipments
- Manage supplier adjustments such as material replacements for non-conforming goods and order cancellations
- Collaborate with customer service teams and warehouse managers regarding availability, pricing, and logistics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in international purchasing and logistics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in SAP for purchase order management and data entry
- Sound understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and logistics coordination

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
