Program Manager - Factory Operations

Role Overview River is a Bengaluru-based design and manufacturing company known for building the River Indie, widely recognised as the SUV of Scooters. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Program Manager to join our Factory Operations team and contribute to smooth, efficient manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and manage factory operations programs to ensure timely and efficient execution - Analyse operational data and present insights to drive process improvements - Collaborate across teams to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail - Prepare and deliver presentations using Microsoft and Google Office Suite tools - Ensure adherence to timelines, operational targets, and quality benchmarks - Support cross-functional communication between factory and business teams Required Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in factory or operations management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace - Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and time management abilities - Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment - Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced manufacturing setting - Basic understanding of business operations and management principles - Willingness to work on-site at the factory location with a 6-day work week Why Join Us River offers a dynamic work environment where you can be part of a fast-growing electric mobility brand backed by world-class investors. - Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; MBA is a plus - 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or factory management - Strong data analysis and presentation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong organisational and time management skills - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment - Willingness to work 6 days a week at factory location
