Product Solutions Engineer - Ads API

Role Overview Google is hiring a Product Solutions Engineer for its Ads API team, based out of Hyderabad or Gurugram. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical expert for Google's largest advertising clients, third-party developers, and product partners, owning end-to-end solutioning across the full customer journey. You will bridge the gap between external API developers and internal engineering, sales, and product teams to drive exceptional developer and advertiser experiences. Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and escalations raised by advertisers, agencies, partners, and third-party developers using Google Ads APIs - Consult with API developers on integration best practices and lead strategic technical projects to improve the overall developer experience - Build diagnostic tools and automation workflows independently or in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to streamline debugging and scale operations - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, product management, and engineering to identify client pain points and improve the end-to-end user experience - Analyze data and customer insights to develop proactive root-cause action plans focused on knowledge management, operational improvements, and product adoption Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience - Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers - Hands-on experience in system design or reading and understanding code in Java, C++, or Python - Experience working with Ads APIs or similar platforms within a tech organisation - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript - Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem including Google Ads products - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Empathetic, customer-first mindset with proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Why Join Us Google offers a collaborative, globally diverse work environment where you will work on cutting-edge advertising technology that powers businesses worldwide.
