Product Solutions Engineer - Ads API

Role Overview Google is looking for a skilled Product Solutions Engineer to join its Ads API support team in Gurugram or Hyderabad. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical expert for some of Google's largest advertising clients and developer partners, owning end-to-end solutioning across the customer journey. You will act as a trusted technical consultant bridging external API developers with internal engineering and sales teams while shaping product quality through customer-driven insights. Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and escalations raised by advertisers, agencies, sales teams, and third-party developers using Google Ads APIs - Provide expert API consultation to guide developers on effective integration practices and lead strategic technical projects that improve the overall developer experience - Build diagnostic tools and automation solutions independently or in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to streamline debugging and scale operational efficiency - Partner cross-functionally with sales, product management, and engineering to understand client pain points and continuously enhance the end-to-end user experience - Analyse data and customer insights to develop proactive root-cause action plans focused on knowledge management, operational improvements, and product adoption Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience - Minimum 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners and customers - Hands-on experience in system design or reading and working with code in Java, C++, or Python - Familiarity with the digital advertising ecosystem including Google Ads products - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript - Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Proven problem-solving and critical thinking ability with an empathetic, customer-first approach Why Join Us At Google, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of digital advertising technology, collaborating with world-class engineering and sales teams to deliver meaningful impact for advertisers and developers globally.
