Product Manager 4 - Etch Platforms

Role Overview Lam Research is looking for a seasoned Product Manager 4 to join the Global Products Group - Etch division in Bengaluru. This senior-level role places you at the helm of end-to-end business ownership for one or more etch products, platforms, or major product families. You will operate with significant autonomy, shaping product strategy and driving cross-functional execution to deliver world-class semiconductor etch solutions. Key Responsibilities - Define, own, and continuously evolve the multi-year product vision and roadmap for assigned etch products or platforms by integrating customer insights, market dynamics, and technology direction - Author and govern the Plan of Record for major programs, sustaining initiatives, and product options while holding cross-functional teams accountable to milestones, cost targets, and performance goals - Manage complex product tradeoffs by balancing development speed, risk, cost, and long-term product health across engineering and operations functions - Ensure whole product delivery that is fully qualified, released into manufacturing with predictable cost and lead times, and supported in the field with complete documentation and spares readiness - Serve as a senior customer-facing leader by conducting roadmap reviews, managing escalations for critical accounts, and ensuring all product decisions are grounded in competitive positioning and commercial outcomes - Lead large matrixed cross-functional teams spanning engineering, supply chain, quality, and service without direct authority - Mentor junior product managers and contribute to capability building within the product management function Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field - Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, engineering, or equivalent roles within the semiconductor equipment or advanced technology sectors - Proven ability to present product strategies and roadmaps to executive leadership and key customers - Strong decision-making skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities effectively - Preferred: Domain knowledge in etch processes, platforms, or modules - Preferred: MBA or advanced technical qualification Why Join Us Lam Research is a global leader in semiconductor equipment innovation, committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential.
