Pricing Analytics Manager

Role Overview Takeda is looking for a skilled Pricing Analytics Manager to join its Innovation Capability Center in Bengaluru. This role is central to driving pricing insights and analytics for global pharmaceutical assets, supporting strategic pricing decisions across markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong pharmaceutical pricing expertise and the ability to work seamlessly across international, cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with Global Pricing Leads to deliver both planned and ad-hoc pricing analytics including price benchmarking, analog analysis, and price trend studies - Conduct horizon scanning and pricing landscape assessments to evaluate the impact of payer policy changes, competitor launches, and loss of exclusivity events on market access - Support standard pricing processes such as running pricing models, preparing pricing business cases, and maintaining pricing certificates - Facilitate input and validation of key assumptions for launch planning analyses including price listing, introduction timelines, and expected unit sales - Perform international reference pricing analysis to estimate cross-country IRP risks and share findings with relevant stakeholders - Serve as the coordination interface between countries and regions for IRP approvals and pricing governance processes - Handle ad-hoc pricing queries from country and regional teams including providing list price information across markets - Contribute to embedding pricing excellence within the ICC Global Pricing and Portfolio team Required Qualifications - Bachelors or Masters degree in science, economics, pharmacy, or MBA - Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing and market access at reputed industry or consultancy firms - Strong understanding of pricing and access activities at key drug development and commercialization milestones - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to multitask - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with basic VBA knowledge and working familiarity with Power BI - Strong communication skills with comfort in working across international and cross-functional teams - Ability to thrive in ambiguous, matrixed organizational environments with a continuous learning mindset Why Join Us Takeda is globally certified as a Top Employer and is committed to investing in its people through continuous training, high-end technology access, and an inclusive workplace culture.
