PL SQL Support Engineer

Role Overview Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced PL SQL Support professional to join their team in Chennai. This role is focused on production and application support within the banking domain, requiring strong Unix, SQL, and Autosys expertise. The ideal candidate will bring 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing critical batch operations and resolving issues in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux and Unix servers in production environments - Develop, deploy, and manage Autosys JILs and handle batch scheduling operations - Provide application and production support specifically within the banking domain - Configure and monitor alerts using tools such as ITRS, Grafana, Kibana, AppDynamics, and Splunk - Handle incident and change management in line with ITSM best practices - Work with middleware technologies including MQ and Kafka - Collaborate using JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence for ticketing and documentation - Support cloud-based environments including OpenShift, Couchbase, and MongoDB Required Qualifications - 4 to 10 years of experience in IT production or application support - Strong working knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems - Proficiency with Autosys job scheduling and batch management - Experience in banking domain application support - Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes for incident and change management - Understanding of monitoring platforms such as ITRS, Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics - Working knowledge of middleware technologies like MQ or Kafka - Exposure to cloud technologies including OpenShift, Couchbase, and MongoDB is preferred Why Join Us Tata Consultancy Services is one of India's most respected global IT organisations, offering professionals a platform to work on high-impact banking and enterprise projects.
