Payroll Support Specialist, HR Systems

Role Overview Magna International is hiring a motivated Payroll Support Specialist to support our payroll practitioners across Canadian and US operations. Based in Bengaluru, you will focus on configuration design, system enhancements, and Tier 3 issue resolution within Dayforce. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain advanced payroll configurations in the Dayforce HRIS. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex payroll bugs. - Implement General Ledger mappings, cost allocations, and account rules. - Manage system changes for legislative compliance across jurisdictions. - Deliver regression testing and governance reviews for system upgrades. - Document support steps and provide training to internal payroll practitioners. Required Qualifications - Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or HR. - Three to five years of technical systems experience, with Dayforce preferred. - Deep understanding of payroll rules, employee life cycles, and tax setups. - Strong problem-solving skills and advanced Excel spreadsheet proficiency. - Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks independently.
