Job Description

Role Overview JB Poindexter (India) Private Limited, the captive shared services arm of J.B. Poindexter and Co. Inc., a diversified manufacturing giant based in Houston, Texas, is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Assistant to join its Bengaluru team. In this entry-level full-time role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers reaching out via phone and email, ensuring all queries are handled efficiently and directed to the right Parts Sales Coordinator. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of parts sales operations through accurate communication, inbox management, and order coordination. Key Responsibilities - Answer inbound customer calls related to parts sales and gather all relevant order and customer details before routing them to the appropriate Parts Sales Coordinator - Monitor and manage all parts sales email inboxes to ensure timely responses and correct assignment based on territory - Respond promptly to customer and internal email requests in line with role expectations - Provide customers with updates on invoice requests, tracking numbers, and order status - Assist management with accurate processing and documentation of approved credits - Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support overall team efficiency Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline - Prior experience in a customer service role - Proficiency in MS Office applications and the AS/400 system for parts reference - Ability to interpret and work with material requirement planning systems - Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skills - Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics Why Join Us JBPCO India offers you the opportunity to be part of a globally reputed manufacturing organisation with a strong ethical foundation and a collaborative work culture.
