Life Insurance Advisor

Role Overview Axis Max Life Insurance Limited is looking for a dedicated Life Insurance Advisor to join its growing team in Bengaluru. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility of partial work from home while engaging with clients across the city. You will play a key role in helping customers make informed decisions about their financial protection and long-term savings through need-based life insurance solutions. Key Responsibilities - Identify and connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial protection and savings requirements - Schedule and conduct client meetings both in-person and virtually to present suitable life insurance products - Perform thorough needs analysis and prepare customised insurance proposals for individual clients - Assist customers through documentation, onboarding, and policy servicing processes - Follow up consistently with clients throughout the policy life cycle to ensure satisfaction - Collaborate with internal teams and distribution partners to drive business growth - Stay updated on product changes, IRDAI regulatory guidelines, and evolving market trends - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM and digital platforms Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline; qualifications in finance, insurance, or business administration are an added advantage - Sound understanding of life insurance products, risk protection concepts, and savings solutions - Basic to intermediate knowledge of investment planning and long-term financial goal setting - Strong consulting and advisory skills including needs assessment, problem-solving, and solution design - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information - Proficiency with CRM tools, digital sales platforms, and standard office software - Relevant insurance certifications or licences as required by regulation, or willingness to obtain them - Self-driven, target-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment Why Join Us Axis Max Life Insurance Limited is one of India's most trusted life insurers with an individual death claims paid ratio of 99.70 percent for FY24-25 and assets under management of over Rs. 1.75 lakh crore.
