Lead Manager - Information Security

Role Overview Infosys is looking for a seasoned Lead Manager in Information Security to spearhead cyber defence operations across incident response, threat intelligence, and detection engineering. This is a mid-senior leadership role that demands strong technical depth combined with people management and executive communication skills. The ideal candidate will serve as the central authority for high-severity incidents and drive the overall security posture of the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage end-to-end security operations covering Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Malware Analysis, and Security Analytics - Act as the escalation owner for complex and high-severity security incidents, ensuring timely containment, risk mitigation, and resolution - Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), mock drills, tabletop exercises, and cyber crisis simulation programs - Build and mature threat intelligence capabilities including TTP-based hunting and monitoring for APTs and ransomware campaigns - Oversee the SIEM use-case lifecycle, improving alert quality and broadening detection coverage across the environment - Champion automation strategies including SOAR, Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS), deception technologies, and cyber range initiatives - Define and maintain KPIs and KRIs, executive dashboards, and leadership-level security reporting - Deliver clear, concise security updates to the CISO and senior leadership team on an ongoing basis - Collaborate cross-functionally with Governance, Risk and Compliance, PRC, and TechOps teams as a trusted security advisor - Mentor and develop security talent within the team while driving performance and accountability Required Qualifications - Proven experience in information security operations at a senior or lead level - Strong background in incident response, threat intelligence, SIEM management, and SOC operations - Demonstrated expertise in security automation tools such as SOAR platforms - Experience managing and mentoring security professionals in a high-pressure environment - Excellent communication and reporting skills with the ability to present to C-suite stakeholders - Hands-on knowledge of APT tracking, ransomware analysis, and TTP-based threat hunting frameworks - Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or ISO 27001 Why Join Us Infosys is a globally recognised technology leader offering unparalleled opportunities for career growth and impact in the cybersecurity domain.
