Job Description

Role Overview Amazon is looking for a motivated and customer-focused ITS Support Associate to join its Global Service Desk team in Chennai. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical support requests raised by Amazon Corporate and subsidiary employees across the globe. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting users across APAC, EMEA, and AMER time zones on a 24/7 rotational model. Key Responsibilities - Handle incoming support requests through web chat, phone calls, emails, and ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner - Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing issues including hardware, software, and network-related problems - Manage a case load of 15 to 25 phone calls, chats, and tickets per shift - Create and maintain accurate, detailed logs of all customer interactions within the ticketing system - Follow standard operating procedures and knowledge management practices to deliver technically accurate solutions - Assist in triaging and escalating system or network outages to minimise downtime - Ensure customers are informed, satisfied, and that issues are fully resolved before closing cases Required Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of IT support experience in a corporate environment covering Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems - Hands-on experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems - Practical knowledge of network troubleshooting and support - Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and maintain high productivity under pressure - Flexibility to work rotational shifts covering global time zones Why Join Us Amazon offers an inclusive and empowering work culture where your contributions make a direct impact on the experience of employees worldwide. Requirements

- 1+ years of corporate IT support experience on Windows, Mac, or Linux - Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems - Network troubleshooting and support knowledge - Ability to manage 15-25 support cases per shift - Strong customer service and communication skills - Flexibility to work 24/7 rotational shifts across global time zones - Preferred: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Linux Redhat, Microsoft hardware, or AWS certifications
