IT Operations Engineer

Role Overview Altraize is looking for a skilled IT Operations professional to join their team in Bengaluru. This full-time role involves managing and maintaining corporate IT infrastructure across multiple geographically dispersed sites. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies, networking, and helpdesk support to ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and support corporate applications, servers, LAN/WAN/WLAN/VLAN, and security systems across multiple sites - Diagnose and resolve 1st and 2nd level technical issues, escalating complex cases to 3rd level support when required - Document configurations, policies, and procedures in line with IT controls and regulatory requirements such as FDA and ITAR - Ensure all systems comply with internal IT security policies and industry standards including ISO certifications - Respond to user requests via a ticketing system, prioritise issues, and ensure timely resolution - Act as the first point of contact for all end-user queries, communicating solutions in a professional and user-friendly manner - Implement and schedule preventive maintenance routines to minimise system disruptions - Support asset management processes in accordance with defined IT policies and standards - Collaborate with regional and global teams to support Group IT operations and projects - Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of experience in Microsoft-based technology, WAN/LAN, and systems support - Proficiency in Active Directory, O365, Dell Kace/CyberArk, and Microsoft server administration - Strong understanding of LAN/WAN routing and switching technologies across Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 - Relevant IT certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CompTIA, or equivalent - Strong cyber security awareness and familiarity with endpoint protection systems - Good verbal and written communication skills in English - Familiarity with ITIL practices and process optimisation methodologies - Experience in a multi-site, globally distributed IT environment is an advantage - Knowledge of Azure, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies is preferred Why Join Us Altraize offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic global IT environment where you can contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects and grow your technical expertise.
