IT Operations Engineer

Role Overview Altraize is looking for a skilled IT Operations professional to join their team in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This full-time role requires a hands-on engineer capable of managing corporate IT infrastructure across multiple geographically dispersed sites while ensuring system uptime, security compliance, and exceptional end-user support. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in Microsoft-based environments and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities in a global IT setting. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and support corporate applications, servers, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VLAN networks along with security systems across multiple locations - Diagnose and resolve first and second level technical issues and escalate complex incidents to third level support when required - Document IT configurations, policies, and procedures to meet compliance standards such as FDA and ITAR where applicable - Ensure all systems adhere to internal IT security policies and industry standards including ISO certifications - Support asset management processes in line with defined IT policies and standards - Respond to user requests through a ticketing system, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution - Implement and schedule preventive maintenance routines to minimize operational disruptions - Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to support Group IT operations and ongoing projects - Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency - Actively participate in Global Competence Team activities and scheduled training sessions Required Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft-based technologies, WAN and LAN networking, and systems support - Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft O365, Dell Kace, CyberArk, and Microsoft server administration - Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN routing and switching technologies across Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 - Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection systems - Familiarity with backup systems and server room setup - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Relevant IT certifications such as MCP, MCSE, or CompTIA are preferred - Experience in multi-site or globally distributed IT environments is an advantage - Familiarity with ITIL practices and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure is a plus Why Join Us Altraize offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate with global IT teams and contribute to meaningful technology initiatives.
