HR Business Partner

Role Overview Ingram Micro, the world's largest technology distributor with operations across 64 countries and revenues exceeding $50 billion, is looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to join their Chennai team. In this strategic mid-senior role, you will work closely with business leadership to drive people initiatives that align with organisational goals. This is a full-time, five-days-a-week office-based opportunity for HR professionals with a strong background in multinational environments. Key Responsibilities - Partner with senior business leaders to understand talent needs, workforce challenges, and organisational objectives, and translate them into effective HR strategies - Collaborate with recruiting teams to attract and onboard top talent, and work with managers to identify skill gaps and build targeted learning and development programmes - Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing coaching to managers on conflict resolution and implementing engagement and retention initiatives - Support compensation and benefits planning in partnership with people operations teams, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and business goals - Monitor compliance with employment laws and regulations, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the department - Analyse HR metrics including turnover, engagement, and performance data to generate actionable insights and prepare reports for leadership - Lead and manage HR project planning by defining objectives, timelines, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with department heads Required Qualifications - MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution - 10 to 15 years of HRBP experience in a multinational company - Industry background in Retail, FMCG, Distribution, or Technology sectors - Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and policy implementation - Demonstrated ability to work on workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development - Proficiency in HR data analysis and preparing executive-level presentations Why Join Us Ingram Micro offers a vibrant, ethics-driven work culture that champions agility, innovation, and dedication, making it an outstanding platform for HR professionals looking to make a significant impact at a global scale.
