Role Overview
Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced sales leader to join as Head of Government Sales & Very Large Accounts in Bengaluru or Delhi. You will architect, scale, and deliver a high-impact Government and Large Account business, expanding Tally's influence across government, PSUs, skilling ecosystems, universities, and large enterprises. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader with a values-driven approach to partner-led sales at a national scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth of the Government Sales and Very Large Accounts business, driving revenue expansion across ministries, public sector units, and large enterprises.
- Establish and nurture strategic, trust-based relationships with senior government stakeholders and industry bodies.
- Design, bid, and execute large-scale nationwide programs in education, skilling, and enterprise digitization.
- Manage and build capabilities within the partner ecosystem, co-creating consortium strategies, proposal designs, and pricing models.
- Build, govern, and lead a high-performing national sales team, driving sales rigor and operational excellence.
- Shape future profit and loss ownership, managing revenue, costs, partner strategy, and business expansion.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience in government and institutional sales, enterprise account management, or business development.
- Proven track record of winning multi-crore, multi-year government programs and managing PSU procurement and tendering processes.
- Strong expertise in partner-led sales motions, proposal writing, and RFP/RFI response management.
- Excellent strategic planning, team leadership, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with high product adaptability.
