Role Overview
Accenture's Global Network Strategy practice is looking for a seasoned Strategy Manager to join its Transaction Advisory team. This role focuses on supporting Private Equity and Corporate clients across the full M&A deal lifecycle, from pre-deal target screening to post-merger integration and portfolio value creation. The position is based across Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Mumbai and requires an individual who can drive complex consulting engagements with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients in executing their inorganic growth agenda across the deal lifecycle, covering target screening, synergy assessment, commercial and operations due diligence, post-merger integration, and portfolio interventions
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of complex consulting projects for Private Equity and Corporate clients across the Pre-Deal phase, Deal Execution phase, and Value Creation or Scaling of Portfolio and Target firms
- Ensure high-quality, on-time project delivery by defining deliverables, setting priorities and deadlines, reviewing team output, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards
- Actively support RFP processes by preparing detailed proposal documents covering proposed solutions, deliverables, team structure, timelines, and pricing, and presenting Client Orals in coordination with Accenture Bid Managers and Client Account Leads
- Contribute to building new intellectual property, thought leadership, and practice offerings that elevate the team's market profile and generate new demand
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, mentor team members, and stay current on emerging industry concepts through continuous learning and certifications
Required Qualifications
- MBA from a Tier 1 institute with 6 or more years of post-MBA experience in a Private Equity firm or a top-tier Management Consulting firm advising on the full transaction lifecycle
- Proven hands-on experience across M&A deal advisory areas including Commercial Due Diligence, Target Screening, Post-Merger Integration, Separation Planning and Execution, Portfolio Value Creation, and Technology or Platform Due Diligence
- Deep sector knowledge in one or more industries such as CMT, Financial Services, Resources, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Consumer Goods and Services, or Retail
- Strong track record of engaging with C-suite executives including CEOs and Chief Strategy Officers, and demonstrated ability to sell and deliver consulting engagements
- Proven issue-based problem-solving skills with the ability to decode complex and unstructured business challenges into actionable strategies

Requirements
- MBA from a Tier 1 institute
- 6 or more years of post-MBA experience in Private Equity or top-tier Management Consulting
- Experience across the full M&A deal lifecycle including pre-deal and post-deal phases
- Hands-on expertise in Commercial Due Diligence, Target Screening, Post-Merger Integration, and Separation Planning
- Experience in Tech M&A including Technology Due Diligence, Platform Due Diligence, and Technology Integration or Separation
- Deep industry knowledge in CMT, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, or Retail
- Strong engagement experience with C-level executives including CEOs and Chief Strategy Officers
- Demonstrated ability to lead RFP processes and prepare and present client proposals
- Excellent team leadership, quality control, and project management capabilities
