Role Overview Infosys is looking for a skilled Generative AI Engineer to join its dynamic consulting practice. You will be embedded within client-facing consulting engagements, helping organisations across industries harness the power of Generative AI, Computer Vision, NLP, and Machine Learning to drive meaningful digital change. Key Responsibilities As a Generative AI Engineer at Infosys, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing complex client challenges and crafting innovative, scalable AI-driven solutions. You will contribute to proposal development by owning dedicated sections of solution design documents and offering domain-specific technical inputs. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing configuration activities, building solutions aligned with client requirements, and running Conference Room Pilots to validate solution design before full deployment. You will design and deliver compelling product and solution demonstrations, Proof of Concept engagements, and Proof of Technology workshops tailored to client needs. Effort estimation, budgetary alignment, and adherence to organisational financial guidelines will also form part of your core duties. You will actively lead smaller project streams and contribute to team-level and organisation-wide initiatives, consistently delivering high-quality, value-driven outcomes for clients navigating their digital transformation journey. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on expertise in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Computer Vision applications Proficiency in Natural Language Processing techniques and frameworks within Big Data ecosystems Solid experience in Machine Learning engineering using Python and associated libraries Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation Familiarity with Agentic AI architectures and Python-based AI frameworks Experience with Deep Learning models and their practical deployment in enterprise settings Ability to engage directly with clients, communicate technical concepts clearly, and lead workshops and demos Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (B.Tech, B.E., BCA, or B.Sc accepted) Why Join Us Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, empowering clients in over 50 countries to navigate their digital transformation. 3 to 5 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning engineering Hands-on expertise in Computer Vision tools, techniques, and frameworks Strong proficiency in Natural Language Processing and text-based AI systems Python programming skills with experience in ML and AI development frameworks Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures Exposure to Agentic AI design patterns and autonomous AI workflows Experience in Deep Learning model development and deployment Ability to contribute to solution design documents and client-facing proposals Experience conducting demos, workshops, and Proof of Concept sessions Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a consulting or client-facing environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
