Finance and Accounting Supervisor

Role Overview This Finance and Accounting Supervisor position involves managing critical financial operations including accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger processes. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirements for a large financial services organization. Key Responsibilities - Prepare accounts receivable cash deposits, cash applications, and fee and expense billing using PeopleSoft modules - Record transactions in the general ledger for various expense categories including registered agent fees, audit, tax, bank and legal expenses across multiple legal entities - Prepare and reconcile cash transfers to affiliated entities and foreign offices while resolving unreconciled items - Generate financial reports including daily AR aging reports, trend analysis, and ad hoc reporting requests as needed - Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank accounts using RCM Reconciliation Tool and resolve discrepancies - Monitor departmental variance analysis, prepare correcting journal entries and vouchers - Support accounts payable voucher review and entry to ensure proper general ledger coding - Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate issues to onshore contacts Required Qualifications - Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline - 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting functions - Proficiency with PeopleSoft accounting modules - Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliation processes Why Join Us Hexaware Technologies offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to significant financial operations for a leading organization.
