Field Application Engineer

Role Overview TR, part of the Trifast plc group, is looking for a skilled Field Application Engineer to join their team in Delhi. This role serves as the critical link between engineering expertise and commercial sales, providing both reactive and proactive technical support to customers and internal sales teams. The ideal candidate is technically strong, commercially aware, and passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Provide technical and design support to customers and sales teams to ensure correct product application - Conduct workshops, VA/VE activities, rationalization exercises, line walks, and application teardowns to optimize customer solutions - Engage with customer engineering, production, and quality teams to develop new applications and improve conversion rates - Review technical drawings, documents, and specifications with an understanding of functional, manufacturing, and assembly requirements - Model and draw products in line with TR design and drawing standards and obtain required drawing approvals - Assist in troubleshooting product issues by collaborating with quality and operations teams to resolve customer concerns - Prepare technical reports, presentations, and sales documentation for internal and external stakeholders - Maintain project milestone timelines and ensure timely responses to customer requirements - Apply Total Cost of Ownership principles to identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics, inventory, assembly, and process optimization Required Qualifications - Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline - Hands-on experience in a sales or engineering environment - Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent 2D and 3D tools - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team - Valid driving license Why Join Us TR is a globally respected manufacturer backed by the Trifast plc group, offering a dynamic and technically stimulating environment where engineers can grow their expertise and make a tangible impact on customer success.
