Executive - Supply Chain

Role Overview Novonesis is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Executive in Supply Chain to join its Global Competencies Centre in Bengaluru. This role sits within the Order Management function and plays a key part in ensuring smooth order processing, resolving backorders, managing customer queries, and driving continuous improvements across supply chain operations. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including planners, logistics providers, and customer service representatives to deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Receive and process customer orders in SAP after verifying stock availability, credit status, and payment conditions - Handle day-to-day customer queries, complaints, and issues related to purchase orders and sales order fulfilment - Troubleshoot sales order issues and identify opportunities for process enhancements - Ensure master data accuracy including Customer Master Data, Bill of Materials, and Material Extensions in SAP - Process customer invoices through SAP billing and ensure timely product and document delivery - Generate and analyse reports to track KPIs and support business decision-making - Coordinate with planners, logistics partners, and internal teams to optimise material movement and reduce costs - Escalate risks that could impact order completion timelines - Maintain compliance with company policies, QMS procedures, and standard operating procedures - Support and mentor new team members and assist in training initiatives - Contribute to process optimisation and continuous improvement projects Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline - 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, customer service, order management, or logistics - Proficiency in SAP R/3 SD, CRM, and MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset toward identifying inefficiencies - Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders - Fluency in English, both written and verbal - Willingness to work in rotational shifts Why Join Us At Novonesis, biosolutions are at the heart of addressing the world's most pressing challenges, and every team member contributes to a meaningful mission that has guided the company for over a century.
