As an Events Video Editor, you will transform raw event footage into high-energy, emotionally compelling stories that make audiences feel like they were truly there. Key Responsibilities - Edit aftermovies, event recaps, and highlight reels from raw multi-camera footage - Create fast-paced, cinematic narratives that capture the energy and spirit of live events - Sync visuals with music to build emotional impact and audience engagement - Apply creative transitions, pacing techniques, and sound design to elevate storytelling - Deliver content optimised for social media platforms with a focus on viewer retention - Collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure edits align with each brand's tone and messaging - Turn around content quickly after events to maximise real-time impact Required Qualifications - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in aftermovie, montage, or event video editing - Strong sense of music, rhythm, and visual pacing - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory; After Effects knowledge is an added advantage - Experience working with real-world, fast-moving, and imperfect footage - Portfolio demonstrating event videos, aftermovies, or high-engagement edits - Ability to work under tight post-event deadlines Why Join Us At YAAS!, you will work on exciting, large-scale brand projects alongside a passionate creative team that pushes storytelling boundaries. - 2 to 3 years of experience in event or aftermovie video editing - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory) - Knowledge of Adobe After Effects (preferred) - Strong understanding of music synchronisation and visual rhythm - Experience with multi-camera footage and dynamic event environments - Ability to deliver high-quality edits under tight deadlines - Portfolio showcasing aftermovies or event highlight videos - Basic knowledge of motion graphics is a bonus - Familiarity with AI tools in editing workflows is an advantage
