Engineering Manager

Role Overview Sharpsell.ai is hiring an Engineering Manager in Bengaluru to lead the design and implementation of backend architectures. You will architect complex database solutions, deploy distributed systems, and leverage AWS services to support our Sales Playbook Automation Platform. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, performance, and scaling backend capabilities using modern Python frameworks. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend architectures. - Lead the development and integration of APIs using frameworks like FastAPI. - Architect and optimize complex databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, including schema designs. - Plan and execute database migrations and schema changes using Alembic. - Leverage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, for scalable cloud deployments. - Own the deployment processes by managing CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment configurations. Required Qualifications - Strong experience in backend engineering and system design using Python. - Proven experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Practical experience with AWS cloud services and asynchronous programming in Python. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. - Excellent leadership, communication, and technical mentoring skills. Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI framework. Hands-on experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL and SQLAlchemy. Proven expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Solid system design skills, especially with distributed systems and caching mechanisms.
