Emulation Engineer

Role Overview EnCharge AI is at the forefront of building next-generation AI compute silicon, purpose-engineered for high-performance, low-power, and scalable AI inference. As an Emulation Engineer, you will be a key contributor in validating sophisticated AI accelerator architectures on emulation platforms prior to tape-out. Key Responsibilities - Set up, configure, and maintain Siemens Veloce emulation and prototyping platforms - Adapt SoC designs to support emulation and prototyping workflows - Develop and debug emulation testbenches and system-level validation environments - Support pre-silicon validation activities including power and performance analysis and early software bring-up - Participate in silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation processes - Collaborate with design and verification teams to isolate design issues and speed up debugging - Optimize emulation workload performance and reduce overall turnaround time - Work alongside firmware and software teams to enable OS and driver testing using emulation platforms Required Qualifications - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least 3 years of SoC design experience - Hands-on experience with emulation platforms such as Veloce, Palladium, or ZeBu and FPGA-based prototyping systems like proFPGA, HAPS, or Protium - Experience emulating high-speed I/O interfaces including PCIe and UCIe and memory technologies such as LPDDR and HBM - Strong understanding of digital design, RTL coding in Verilog or SystemVerilog, and SoC architecture - Proficiency with hardware debug tools, waveform viewers, and logic analyzers - Scripting skills in Python, Tcl, or Perl for automation and infrastructure development - Familiarity with UVM, simulation methodologies, and testbench environments - Hands-on software development experience in C or C++ is an added advantage Why Join Us EnCharge AI offers a dynamic and innovative work environment where you will contribute to cutting-edge AI silicon development.
