Education Counsellor

Role Overview YES Germany is a leading study abroad consultancy helping students pursue higher education in Germany. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Education Counsellor based in Anna Nagar, Chennai, to guide students and their families through every step of the study abroad journey. This is a full-time, in-office role with a 6-day working week, and immediate joiners will be given preference. Key Responsibilities - Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents to discuss study options in Germany - Assist students in selecting the right courses, universities, and cities based on their academic background and career goals - Support students with university applications, document preparation, and timely submission - Maintain regular follow-ups with students throughout their application process and keep them informed at every stage - Serve as a point of contact between students and German educational institutions to address queries and resolve concerns - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, application status, and outcomes Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field; Master's degree preferred - Minimum 2 years of experience in educational counselling or student advisory services - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills - Knowledge of German universities, visa procedures, and study abroad processes is an advantage - Ability to join immediately or at short notice Why Join Us YES Germany offers a dynamic and student-focused work environment where you can make a real difference in shaping the futures of aspiring students.
