DevOps Engineer

Role Overview hackajob, in collaboration with Barclays, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our digital landscape in Bengaluru. In this role, you will build and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines, operate scalable Kubernetes clusters, and provision cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance event-driven services and digital offerings. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Harness for automated deployment. - Maintain and scale Kubernetes clusters for stateless and stateful workloads, aligning with cloud-native practices. - Develop automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform on public cloud platforms (AWS preferred). - Collaborate with platform and software engineering teams to integrate distributed data and streaming platforms like Kafka, Flink, and MongoDB. Required Qualifications - Solid experience in DevOps engineering with hands-on expertise in GitLab, Harness, and Docker. - Proven ability to write Terraform templates and manage infrastructure deployments in an AWS cloud environment. - Good working knowledge of distributed streaming systems (Kafka, Flink) and relational/non-relational databases. - Quality-driven engineering culture with experience in contract, unit, and performance testing.
