Data Visualization Associate

Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join the Consumer and Community Banking Finance Data and Insights team at J.P. Morgan, facilitated through hackajob. As a Data Visualization Associate, you will play a key role in transforming home lending finance through data-driven insights, advanced analytics, and automation. You will work alongside passionate data professionals to empower strategic decision-making across the organization and contribute meaningfully to the future of mortgage financial intelligence. Key Responsibilities - Lead the full development lifecycle of dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau, Alteryx, ThoughtSpot, and SQL for senior management and key business stakeholders - Design and refine Alteryx workflows to aggregate data from multiple sources and ensure data is sourced from authoritative systems following established best practices - Build and improve intuitive data visualizations in Tableau and ThoughtSpot to help stakeholders interpret information and make well-informed decisions - Perform thorough validation of all solution components to ensure data accuracy and support strong control processes - Participate in server upgrade testing, data source transition meetings, and technology enhancement initiatives to maintain seamless data integration - Mentor and guide junior team members to strengthen their capabilities in data analytics and visualization tools - Respond to ad hoc data requests and proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline manual reporting processes Required Qualifications - Minimum 8 years of overall experience with at least 6 years focused on delivering data analytics projects and advanced data visualizations - Strong expertise in Tableau and SQL with demonstrated experience in dashboard development and presentation - Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data preparation tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep - Proficiency in working with relational databases using SQL to extract and summarize large datasets for reporting and ad hoc analysis - Proven ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective, business-relevant insights - Highly motivated and self-driven with a track record of thought leadership in fast-paced environments - Nice to have experience with Databricks and ThoughtSpot Why Join Us JPMorgan Chase is one of the most respected financial institutions in the world with over 200 years of history, offering a collaborative and inclusive environment where your analytical skills can create real business impact.
