Deputy Manager - Procure To Pay

Role Overview IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for its Procure to Pay (P2P) practice based in Bengaluru. This role is part of IBM BPO, a division that drives digital transformation through agile methodologies, AI-powered workflows, and process mining. You will collaborate with global clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality accounts payable operations while adhering to defined SLAs and timelines. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end invoice processing including receipt, verification, and accurate recording of both PO-based and non-PO-based invoices - Oversee vendor master data management including creation, modification, verification, and cleansing of duplicate records - Prioritise urgent and ageing invoices to ensure timely processing within agreed service levels - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain invoice coding, approvals, and resolution of blocked invoices - Handle manual and automatic payment requests, travel and expense claims, duplicate payment recovery, and payment proposal runs - Resolve vendor queries through calls and email for vendor statement reconciliation - Ensure all payment and expense entries are posted accurately in accounting systems on a timely basis - Adhere strictly to client SLAs and process timelines at all times Required Qualifications - Commerce graduate with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable - Strong working knowledge of invoice management, vendor management, and intercompany reconciliation - Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word - Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to change management initiatives - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach - Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per business requirements Why Join Us IBM Consulting offers a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and career growth where your unique skills are valued. - Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable - Commerce graduate or equivalent educational background - Expertise in vendor master data management and invoice reconciliation - Hands-on experience with procure to pay processes - Proficient in MS Office applications - Knowledge of agile methodologies and change management - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder coordination skills - Ability to work in rotational shifts and meet tight SLA timelines
