Cyber Security Operations Center Lead

Role Overview Intellect Design Arena Ltd is looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Operations Center Lead to head and manage a high-functioning CSOC team in Chennai. This is a senior role requiring 10 or more years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a SOC manager capacity, with strong hands-on expertise across SIEM, EDR, and cloud security platforms including Azure and AWS. The position operates on a general shift with flexibility to provide 24/7 support on an ad hoc basis. Key Responsibilities - Lead and oversee daily CSOC operations ensuring round-the-clock monitoring and incident response readiness - Develop and continuously improve SOC processes, operational playbooks, and security procedures - Manage security event monitoring, alert triage, threat hunting, and in-depth incident investigations - Lead end-to-end incident response activities covering containment, eradication, recovery, and root cause analysis - Administer and optimize SIEM platforms, SOAR solutions, EDR and XDR tools, and related security technologies - Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, cloud, application, and compliance teams to align security operations - Drive implementation and tuning of security use cases, correlation rules, and threat intelligence integrations - Conduct regular threat assessments and vulnerability reviews to support risk mitigation efforts - Ensure adherence to security policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards - Prepare and present security metrics, SOC performance reports, and executive-level dashboards Required Qualifications - 10 or more years of overall cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years managing a SOC or CSOC function - Hands-on implementation experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk Enterprise Security, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, or ArcSight - Practical experience with SOAR platforms, EDR and XDR tools, and log analysis solutions - Solid understanding of cloud security operations on Azure and AWS - Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, cyber kill chain, and current attack vectors - Strong grasp of network security, threat intelligence, and endpoint security concepts Why Join Us Intellect Design Arena is a globally recognized financial technology company offering you the opportunity to work at the forefront of enterprise cybersecurity.
