Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview Intellect Design Arena Ltd is looking for a visionary and execution-focused technology leader at the SVP grade to serve as Chief Technology Officer for its Digital Transaction Banking platform. This is a senior executive role requiring 22 or more years of technology leadership experience and deep expertise in enterprise banking, cloud-native engineering, and large-scale transformation programs. The CTO will work alongside customers, product leadership, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to build resilient, AI-enabled, and future-ready banking platforms across global markets. Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the technology vision, enterprise architecture, and modernization roadmap for the Digital Transaction Banking platform - Lead architecture and engineering strategy across cloud-native and microservices-based banking platforms - Drive platform scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and high-availability initiatives - Partner with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, and senior customer stakeholders on large-scale digital transformation engagements - Lead architecture governance, solution reviews, and strategic technology decision-making processes - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Sales teams to support platform evolution and customer success - Guide enterprise cloud adoption, DevSecOps practices, API strategy, integration frameworks, and deployment models - Provide hands-on technical guidance to development and engineering teams with a focus on J2EE and modern cloud-native technologies - Mentor senior architects and engineering leaders across the organization - Drive adoption of AI-led development practices including AIDLC methodologies - Monitor emerging trends in banking technology, enterprise platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven engineering Required Qualifications - 25 or more years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, architecture, and engineering delivery - Strong domain knowledge in Digital Transaction Banking, Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance, or Corporate Banking platforms - Proven track record in designing and scaling enterprise-grade banking solutions within regulated environments - Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containerization, DevSecOps, and enterprise integration - Hands-on experience with J2EE and modern engineering frameworks - Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, platform security, observability, resiliency, and high-availability systems - Experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation and AIDLC adoption - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and customer-facing leadership skills - Experience with global banking customers, product organizations, or BFSI technology firms is preferred - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a premier institute - MBA or advanced technology and business certifications are preferred Why Join Us Intellect Design Arena is a globally recognized fintech company empowering banks and financial institutions with next-generation platforms across more than 57 countries.
