Role Overview
Tech Mahindra is looking for a Customer Support Executive to join its customer services team in Noida. In this role, you will handle inbound live chat interactions for an international telecom client, resolving customer queries and turning every interaction into a positive experience. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with clear opportunities for skill development and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer queries via live chat covering billing, rate plans, service activations, credits, adjustments, troubleshooting, and complaints
- Identify and create upsell and cross-sell opportunities during chat interactions
- Provide accurate, relevant information and aim to resolve customer issues on the first contact
- Take full ownership of customer concerns and follow through on all commitments made
- Listen actively to understand customer issues and communicate responses in a calm, clear, and simple manner
- Adhere to work schedules and contribute to overall operational efficiency
- Maintain warm, professional relationships with customers and team members consistently
- Contribute to business profitability through proactive sales initiatives on the chat channel
Required Qualifications
- Any graduate degree from a recognised university
- Proven experience in live chat processes, customer service, or the telecom industry is mandatory
- Hands-on experience with upselling or proactive sales via live chat is mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency with working knowledge of MS Office tools including Word and Excel
- Strong problem-solving, objection handling, and active listening skills

Requirements
- Experience in live chat, customer service, or telecom industry (mandatory)
- Experience with upselling or proactive sales on live chat (mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- International chat process experience preferred
- Familiarity with chat etiquette and web chat platforms
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Any graduate degree
