Custom Software Engineer

Role Overview Accenture in India is looking for a skilled Custom Software Engineer to join its Chennai team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing tailored software solutions that address specific business requirements. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing software products. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and improve custom software components across various systems and applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and deliver effective solutions - Maintain and enhance existing software by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary updates - Document software designs, development processes, and updates to support knowledge sharing within the team - Contribute actively to team discussions and provide solutions to work-related technical challenges - Guide and mentor junior team members by sharing best practices and technical expertise - Work with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform - Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes - Integrate AI tools for IT operations including AIOps platforms and predictive analytics - Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes - 7 to 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, preferably in the banking or financial domain - Strong understanding of servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP - Experience with scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Bash - Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance in banking environments - Knowledge of ITIL processes - Relevant certifications in cloud, infrastructure, or AI tools are a plus - 15 years of full-time education is required Why Join Us Accenture offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous learning are at the forefront.
