Client Manager - IATF

Role Overview BSI is seeking an experienced Client Manager and IATF 16949 Auditor in Bengaluru. In this high-impact role, you will conduct on-site management system assessments for leading automotive manufacturing clients, provide expert recommendations for certification decisions, and support clients in managing risk. You will act as a lead auditor, ensuring high-quality audit delivery while helping organizations build a culture of excellence and compliance. Key Responsibilities - Conduct on-site management system audits in strict compliance with BSI and IATF requirements - Prepare comprehensive, clear audit reports detailing findings, compliance statuses, and actionable insights - Recommend certification decisions regarding the issuance, renewal, or withdrawal of standards - Lead audit teams, manage client expectations, and build long-term business relationships - Mentor junior auditors, manage work schedules, and support internal teams with technical compliance documentation - Maintain up-to-date expertise in automotive manufacturing standards, core tools, and IATF guidelines Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline - Qualified IATF 16949 Auditor certification (ADP certified is mandatory) - Strong knowledge of automotive core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA - Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and audit planning skills - Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively to client manufacturing sites Why Join Us BSI is a globally recognized business improvement and standards company partnering with over 77,500 clients in 195 countries. - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or related fields - Mandatory ADP Certification as a qualified IATF 16949 Auditor - 4 to 6 years of hands-on IATF audit experience within automotive manufacturing setups - Deep understanding of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) - Professional proficiency in spoken and written English - Strong project management skills and willingness to travel frequently
