Role Overview
Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for its Navigation and Sensors portfolio across the APAC and EMEAI regions. This role combines business development, product strategy support, and marketing functions to improve win rates, shape market opportunities, and support supply chain initiatives. You will work closely with product line leaders and regional Defense and Space sales teams to build strong pipelines and deliver measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Advance the Navigation and Sensors growth strategy by analysing customers, applications, regions, and market segments
- Operate and manage the Market and Competitive Intelligence system covering market sizing, segmentation, competitor activity, pricing trends, and win/loss analysis
- Collaborate with GBE product line leaders to convert market insights into actionable roadmap priorities, value propositions, and commercial strategies
- Partner with regional sales teams on targeted campaigns, account planning, and market penetration initiatives
- Provide business development support for key pursuits including competitive positioning, solution framing, and customer-facing presentation materials
- Assist supply chain transition and localisation efforts by aligning demand signals, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics
- Track portfolio and campaign performance metrics such as pipeline health, order intake, revenue, margin, and hit rates and recommend corrective actions
- Lead cross-functional growth programs spanning navigation and sensor technologies
- Develop concise sales enablement tools including playbooks, competitive battlecards, briefing documents, and training content
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Business Development, Product Management, or Marketing within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics industries
- Exposure to navigation, sensors, or avionics products is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate competitive and market data into clear strategic recommendations
- Experience working on complex pursuits or capture processes with OEMs, airlines, or defense customers
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build compelling customer-facing narratives
- Comfortable operating through influence within distributed, cross-functional global teams
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
