Role Overview
Uplift Innovations is a Chennai-based marketing and advertising company that specialises in offline branding solutions including Brand Activation, OOH Campaigns, Public Relations, and Community Engagement. We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to join our on-site team and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and growing revenue. This is a full-time opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional who can manage the complete sales cycle and build lasting client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, inbound leads, and market research
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects across industries and segments
- Understand client marketing objectives and business challenges to craft tailored solutions and proposals
- Develop compelling pitch decks, presentations, and proposals aligned with client goals and budgets
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation, closure, and client onboarding handover
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline health, and conversion rates
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify untapped markets and new service opportunities
- Nurture long-term client relationships to drive retention, repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling
- Collaborate with internal marketing, strategy, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client execution
- Share market insights and client feedback to help refine service offerings and positioning
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition in a marketing, advertising, or agency environment
- Strong understanding of offline marketing services such as Brand Activation, OOH, PR, and Community Engagement
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle and consistently meet revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Self-motivated with strong analytical skills to track sales performance and optimise strategies
- Proficiency in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing documents

- Experience in business development or sales in a marketing or advertising agency
