Billing and Insurance Executive

Role Overview SRM Global Hospitals is looking for a dedicated Billing and Insurance Executive to manage end-to-end insurance activities for patients. This role involves coordinating pre-authorizations, processing claims, and ensuring accurate documentation across all insurance and TPA-related workflows. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between patients, clinical staff, and insurance providers to enable smooth and timely claim settlements. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs to obtain pre-authorization approvals for patient treatments - Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage details before admission - Collect, prepare, and submit all required documents for pre-authorization and final claim processing - Ensure correct application of ICD and procedure codes for accurate claim submissions - Maintain regular communication with patients, treating doctors, and the insurance desk regarding claim status - Track and follow up on pending claims, rejected cases, and insurer queries in a timely manner - Prepare and update daily insurance MIS reports for internal review - Assist in billing and discharge coordination for insured and cashless patients - Support both cashless and reimbursement claim procedures as required - Ensure full compliance with hospital protocols and insurance policy guidelines at all times Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with preference for commerce, healthcare management, or related fields - Freshers with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn are welcome to apply - Experienced candidates with 1 to 3 years in hospital insurance desk or TPA coordination will be preferred - Familiarity with pre-authorization processes, claim submission portals, and insurance software is an advantage - Basic to working knowledge of MS Office tools including Word and Excel - Understanding of TPA networks and corporate insurance policies is a plus Why Join Us SRM Global Hospitals offers a professional healthcare environment where you can build a meaningful career in hospital insurance and billing operations.
