Badminton Coach

Role Overview Nordinn is looking for a passionate and experienced Badminton Coach to lead its badminton coaching program at Game Theory Sports Centres in Bangalore. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing training strategies, mentoring players across all skill levels, and guiding assistant coaches to maintain high coaching standards. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a professional with a strong background in competitive badminton and sports coaching. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement a comprehensive training curriculum for players at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels - Oversee, guide, and mentor assistant coaches to ensure consistent coaching quality across sessions - Design competitive training strategies to prepare athletes for local, state, and national tournaments - Evaluate individual player performance and create personalised development plans - Conduct practice matches and intra-club competitions to build competitive readiness - Ensure all badminton courts and training equipment are well-maintained and safe for use - Maintain accurate attendance logs and progress reports for all players - Collaborate with management on marketing and promotional initiatives to expand the badminton program - Stay current with the latest coaching methodologies and advancements in badminton training Required Qualifications - Extensive experience as a professional badminton player or certified coach - Proven track record in coaching and mentoring players at various competitive levels - Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred) - Valid coaching certification from BWF, BAI, or an equivalent recognised badminton organisation - Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities - First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) - Ability to foster a positive, disciplined, and high-performance training environment Why Join Us Nordinn offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment with access to premium Game Theory Sports Centres and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
