Backend Developer

Role Overview As a Backend Developer for Systems at IBM, you will design and develop innovative offering solutions leveraging the latest technologies. You will focus on developing software for Automation and AIOps platforms, working with hybrid cloud management and infrastructure automation. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge enterprise solutions that integrate artificial intelligence with cloud operations. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop Hybrid Cloud Management and Operations Console with Infrastructure Automation capabilities - Enable AIOps capabilities through integration of Agentic AI and AI Powered Insights with end-to-end observability tools including IBM Concert, IBM Instana, and IBM Turbonomic - Implement enterprise industry standard automation for provision, configuration, and operation using HashiCorp Terraform, Vault, and Ansible - Develop rich HTML applications and software components using Python, Ruby on Rails, and full-stack development practices Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any specialization - 5 to 9 years of professional software development experience - Deep expertise in Python, Ruby on Rails, and full-stack development with AI project focus - Strong understanding of AI model deployment, integration, and Agentic AI concepts - Proficiency with cloud automation tools including Terraform, Vault, and Ansible Why Join Us Join IBM and work on transformative automation and AIOps solutions that power enterprise operations globally.
