Role Overview We are seeking an experienced AWS Step Functions Developer to design and develop sophisticated workflows for disaster recovery processes. This role focuses on cloud automation and business continuity, where you will orchestrate end-to-end DR processes and ensure seamless multi-region AWS operations. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop AWS Step Functions workflows to orchestrate end-to-end disaster recovery processes - Automate disaster recovery runbooks including backup restoration and traffic switching procedures - Implement comprehensive error handling and rollback logic for resilient workflows - Coordinate disaster recovery flows across primary and secondary AWS regions - Support audit, compliance requirements, and conduct disaster recovery drills Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification - 4 or more years of hands-on AWS experience with minimum 2 years specifically on AWS Step Functions - Strong expertise in AWS Lambda using Python or Node.js - Deep understanding of AWS disaster recovery strategies including Pilot Light and Warm Standby approaches - Experience designing and implementing multi-region AWS architectures - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices - AWS certification at Associate or Professional level preferred Why Join Us Join Tata Consultancy Services and work on critical disaster recovery automation projects that impact enterprise infrastructure.
