Role Overview
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Associate โ Patient Experience to join its team at the Old Airport Road facility in Bengaluru. This role is central to delivering an exceptional patient journey by overseeing service quality across clinical and non-clinical touchpoints. The ideal candidate will bring a patient-first mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with multi-disciplinary hospital teams.
Key Responsibilities
The Associate will actively monitor service delivery across outpatient, inpatient, and ancillary departments through regular on-ground assessments. A critical part of the role involves designing and conducting patient satisfaction surveys, gathering real-time feedback, and translating insights into actionable improvements. The incumbent will liaise with operations, nursing, and administrative teams to bridge service gaps and drive adoption of patient engagement standards. Managing the end-to-end complaint resolution process โ ensuring timely follow-up and escalation where necessary โ will be a key accountability. The role also requires preparing detailed periodic reports on patient experience metrics, trends, and the status of ongoing improvement initiatives, providing leadership with data-driven visibility.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline. Prior experience of 3 to 6 years in patient experience management, hospital operations, or a related healthcare service quality role is essential. Proficiency in feedback analysis, stakeholder coordination, and basic data reporting is required.

Requirements
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent undergraduate degree
3 to 6 years of experience in patient experience, hospital operations, or healthcare service quality
Demonstrated ability to monitor and assess service quality across OPD and IPD settings
Experience collecting, analyzing, and acting on patient feedback and satisfaction data
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional coordination
Proven ability to manage patient complaints and ensure timely resolution
Experience preparing reports and presenting insights on service trends
Patient-centric attitude with a strong service orientation
Basic data analysis and reporting capabilities
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing, operations, and support teams
