Analyst - Accounting and Compliance

Role Overview Lennox India Technology Centre, the global capability arm of Lennox International, a century-old leader in HVACR climate control solutions, is looking for a skilled Analyst in Accounting and Compliance to join its Chennai team. This is a mid-senior level full-time opportunity for finance professionals who want to work with a globally respected organisation known for innovation and operational excellence. You will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes. Key Responsibilities - Process monthly Rental and CAM payments to lease vendors and handle timely lease reconciliations with vendor communication - Support month-end close activities covering general ledger, accrual entries, and record-to-report functions - Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations for key assigned accounts and analyse consolidated financial data - Review and post adjustment journal entries for lease invoices and manage period-end close and book finalisation - Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including landlords to provide required financial information - Independently manage statutory and internal audits and identify opportunities for process improvement in internal controls - Support multiple accounting projects aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy across financial operations Required Qualifications - B.Com, MBA, or M.Com with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience, or CA Inter with 3 to 5 years of experience - Strong background in Accounts Payable processes including invoice processing, vendor management, vendor reconciliations, and GR/IR - Hands-on experience in R2R accounting functions such as fixed assets, payroll, prepaid expenses, and accruals - Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP, Blackline, and Hyperion - Exposure to analytical tools such as Qlik or Power BI is desirable - Prior experience collaborating with US counterparts is an added advantage Why Join Us At Lennox India Technology Centre, you will be part of a diverse and engaged global workforce that values innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. - B.Com, MBA, M.Com with 4-8 years of experience or CA Inter with 3-5 years of experience - Experience in Accounts Payable including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations - R2R accounting experience covering fixed assets, payroll, prepaid, and accruals - Hands-on experience with period-end close and book finalisation - Proficiency in MS Excel - Working knowledge of SAP, Blackline, and Hyperion - Exposure to analytical tools like Qlik or Power BI - Experience handling US counterparts is an added advantage
