AM / DM / Manager - Non EB Underwriting

Role Overview Emedlife Insurance Broking Services Limited is seeking an experienced Non-EB Underwriting professional at the AM, DM, or Manager level to join their team in Chennai or Hyderabad. This is an excellent opportunity for insurance professionals with hands-on expertise in general insurance products including Property, Marine, Liability, and Engineering lines to grow in a dynamic broking environment. Key Responsibilities - Procure competitive terms and negotiate coverage from insurers on behalf of clients - Prepare quote comparative analyses to support client decision-making and insurer selection - Provide expert advisory to clients on insurer selection, policy terms, and claims settlement turnaround times - Maintain TATs for policy issuance, endorsements, and the end-to-end claims process - Monitor monthly policy renewals and quote for renewal business after evaluating portfolio performance - Vet policy copies, endorsements, and related documents before dispatch to clients - Review policy terms and conditions and ensure appropriate endorsements are raised for any deviations - Coordinate with the claims team by supplying required data, reports, and client documentation - Facilitate clients in preparing and submitting documentation to surveyors in a timely manner Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in non-EB underwriting or general insurance broking - In-depth product knowledge across Property, Marine, Liability, and Engineering insurance lines - Strong analytical skills for portfolio performance review and comparative quoting - Excellent communication and negotiation skills for insurer and client coordination - Ability to manage multiple TATs and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Emedlife Insurance Broking Services Limited offers a competitive, market-aligned salary and a collaborative work culture that empowers insurance professionals to deliver meaningful value to clients.
